Wishmore Cross School is at an exciting stage of new development. We are improving our Curriculum, our school facilities and completely refurbishing the entire school. We want pupils to feel safe and nurtured so that they can enjoy their time at our school and make good progress. We are developing an open and creative school community in which all pupils and staff feel valued. Already pupils are saying that they feel safer in school and they are engaging well with the exciting new vocational and educational offsite activities. As a result, standards of achievement are rising and pupils are making better progress in their learning. |

As a special school, Wishmore Cross School caters for boys with a range of complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
We aim to provide an environment where boys feel safe and valued allowing them to learn effectively and make good progress. By encouraging boys to develop self reflection and social skills, staff can help them overcome their individual behavioural difficulties. The boys at Wishmore Cross School are presented with a relevant and motivating curriculum to help nurture their individual talents and prepare them for adult life. We also offer a wide range of sporting and educational off-site activities.
It is our priority to provide consistently high standards of teaching and to be a school where all staff are at the forefront of educational initiatives.
